Been a little bit busy doing nothing

Its been awhile since my last post here. I've been very busy quite of late doing templates and stuff.

So yeah, templates. quite tedious i should say. The computer i'm using in the office doesn't have the programs that i need to make a good template (Photoshop). It doesn't hurt to use Paint or Powerpoint (better use what's installed so yeah.) to create simple template. My best ally would probably be the Snipping Tool.
Oh yeah, most of the time at work, if i'm not processing any books; I'm just watching movies. Yeah MOVIES you got that right. I think this week alone i've finished more than a dozen (seriously).

Moving on.

I am also been into playing Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney in a Nintendo DS emulator that i've installed on my phone a few days ago. Well, the title itself calls forth what the game is all about; Phoenix Wright as an Attorney. In this game, you'll be given court cases to work on to, you need to win those cases as a Defense Attorney for the defendant (the one who is being accused as a suspect for the crime). There is also a Prosecutor (one who calls forth witnesses to prove that your client is well, guilty of the crime). The way to win every case is to have proof/evidence that would support your claims and find loopholes on the witness' testimony/ies. The prosecutor, will do his best to contradict your claims by presenting proofs they acquired (although its always under the Court Files available for viewing everytime).

I do enjoy this game because it tells a little bit something about how we should treat others. Mostly blaming others for things that they didn't do. Baseless accusations counts to nothing in this life, you just put the other person at risk and puts your credibility as a truthful person into shambles. If you wanna prove something, do it with facts and not with baseless claims. Do not persecute others for the wrongs that they didn't do. "Evidence is everything" as to what Von Karma (he's not a good guy in the game but hey, what he said is true). Well, to put it simply, do not look for an escape goat for the wrong thing/s that you have done.

This goes for me too. I really have no space for people like that, well, who would in their right minds?
It just goes to show that i do not tolerate those kinds of people. Most of the time i stay quiet, just observing and talk little. Talk little in a sense that i only say what is needed. If you need to say something, go say it but do not expect me to answer or give feedback to it. I won't as long as i don't have any reason to do so. I'll talk if its needed, i'll blurt out specific words that will supplement the topic in discussion, at the same time giving out solid source/s for the info. There's not much to tell as i'm tired dealing with those kind (people fond of lying) but hey, just go with what you want to do. I'll just observe from now on.

Questions sent by a friend..

11:58am
November 5, 2013
Tuesday

So my friend forwarded this questionnaire to me via facebook. So yeah, i am here with my answers to this random but enlightening set of questions from somewhere over the rainbow.

1. What is more difficult for you, looking into someones eyes when you are telling someone how you feel, or looking into someones eyes when they are telling you how they feel?
  • The second one. First one is a must when telling somebody how you feel about them.
2. Think of the last time you were REALLY angry. WHY were you angry? Do you still feel the same way?
  •  The last time i was really really angry was like when i was around 9-12years old and somebody lost the remote control for my RC. Nah, its just a toy anyway and besides, its normal for a kid at that age to be angry for losing toys. hahahaha
3. You are on a flight from Honolulu to Chicago non-stop. There is a fire in the back of the plane. You have enough time to make ONE phone call. Who do you call? What do you tell them?
  •  This is situational, if i personally know the captain of the airplane, i would call him (if he does not know about the fire at the back or if he's too busy looking at that red warning on his headboard) and notify him so that he may still attempt an emergency landing. If the first one is not applicable, i will probably call anyone from my family and tell them of my luck riding on a burning plane *sarcasm*
4. You are at the doctor’s office and he has just informed you that you have approximately one month to live. Do you tell anyone/everyone you are going to die? What do you do with your remaining days? Would you be afraid?
  • I won't tell them because i don't want them to be down and be different around me. Well, do stuffs i wanna do and execute all my activity plans. Just enjoy myself out before retiring this earthly bod of mine. You can't remove fear in a person given that situation. At first there would be fear, but then all you can do is accept what will happen after a month.
5. You can have one of the following two things. Which do you choose? Why? Love and Trust.
  • I would choose trust. It's easy to love someone but its hard to gain trust from that someone even if you love him/her. And i do believe that its better to say "i trust you" than "i love you".
6. You are walking down the street on your way to work. There is a dog drowning in the canal on the side of the street. Your boss has told you if you are late even once more, you are fired. Do you take the time to save the dogs life? Why or Why not?
  • I would. I can find another work but i can't replace other's life.

7. Would you rather be hurt by the one you trust the most or the one you love the most?
  •  the second one. being hurt while inlove is part of the risks involve in a relationship but getting your trust destroyed is simply the hardest one to face. As they say, Trust takes time to build and seconds to break.
8. Your best friend confesses that he/she has feelings for you more than just friendship. He/she is falling in love with you. What do you (or did you) do/say?
  • Its a win/win for me. I wouldn't say it like that of course hahaha. For a guy, its hard to say what you truly feel so in turn, i would just let her feel how much i feel about her.

9. Think of the last person who you know that died. You have the chance to give them 1 hour of life back, but you have to give up one year of yours. Do you do it? Why or Why not?
  •  I will not because surely he/she would get mad at me for wasting 1year of my life for them to be back for just an hour. If its of equivalent trade (sacrifice 1year = they get to live for 1year) then i would do so.
10. Are you the kind of friend that you would want to have as a friend?
  •  Yes
11. Does love = sex?
  • No
12. Your boss tells your coworker that they have to let them go because of work shortage, and they are the newest employee. You have been there much longer. Your coworker has a family to support and no other means of income. Do you go to your boss and offer to leave the company? Why or Why not?
  •  If i have another work to blitz into and if i'm still a bachelor when this situation rises, then yeah. But if i also have a family to support then certainly no.
13. When was the last time you told someone HONESTLY how you felt regardless of how difficult it was for you to say? Who was it? What did you have to tell the person?
  •  SKIIIIPPPP!!!
14. What would be (or what was) harder for you to tell a member of the opposite/same sex, you love them or that you do not love them back?
  •  i dunno, for me they weigh the same.. ^_^"
15. What do you think would be the hardest thing for you to give up? Why would it be hard to lose?
  •  Life. do i still need to explain why? hahaha
16. Excluding romantic love, when was the last time you told someone you loved them. Who were they to you?
  •  Everyday to my mom.
17. If there was one moment and one time in the last month what would you change and why?
  •  The chickenpox outbreak within the family so that i could donate my blood for a friend of mine who will be undergo an operation this month.
18. Would you give a homeless person CPR if they were dying? Why or Why not?
  •  Yes, If that would save person's life. We only have one life so save it.
19. You are holding onto your grandmother’s hand and the hand of a newborn that you do not know as they hang over the edge of a cliff. You have to let one go to save the other. Who do you let fall to their death? What was your rationale for making the decision?
  •  I wish i still had my granny..
20. Are you old fashioned?
  •  Most of my personality: yes.
21. When was the last time you were nice to someone and did NOT expect anything in return for it?
  •  uhhh.. everytime? i just do what i need to do and does not expect anything in return. Expectation kills. hahah
22. Which would you choose, true love with a guarantee of a broken heart, or never loved at all? Why?
  •  First one because i will learn something that i won't learn when i indeed choose the second option (there's nothing substantial to learn from this option).
23. If you could do anything or wish anything, what would it be?
  • Be immortal, have a photographic memory, and have a memory that never fades. Some would be against immortality and say "they don't want to see their loved ones perish right before their eyes" but you'll have to deal with something close to that at some point in your life. For me, to choose those three, would just want to be the one that the past generations left for the enlightenment of the future generations. I would be a living epitaph for things that happened in the past. To sacrifice my life to see everyone close to me age and retire but on the other hand live and share knowledge on future generation is an okay trade.

Encounters with Silly Qs

September 20, 2013 Friday
2:14pm

There are times in our lives that we are asked silly slash stupid questions by random people somewhere over the rainbow. It might be kinda rude not to answer those Qs without blurting out sarcastic answers (being able to process sarcasm / sarcastic thoughts is a sign of a healthy brain function) to them and some you would find offensive. It just happens to everyone i think but actually its fun to answer them as witty as possible. Through out my first existence as a human person in this world (some culture says that if you have a birthmark, that's the reason or cause of your death in your first existence), i too encountered those questions by people unknown to me. Well, some of them are worth the discussion which will be written here.

First Question: Why aren't you discussing with your group? (as asked by most of my teachers and professors during my time being a student)

It's not that i don't have anything to say to the group nor i do not have any ideas to give them, its just that i am the kind of human person that usually observes first before doing or saying anything. I do gather their (groupmates) ideas and mash them with mine, separating same to other ideas that i have. Principle wise, its my way of giving you the stage so that you can throw in your piece, i'll hear you out and hopefully when its my time to talk then you'll listen to my piece as well. Silence does not always connotes negligence or not knowing anything or for some, being shy. Sometimes those description of why a person stays silent is true, but most of the time; its not. I do find silence as my means of observing others. Most of my friends would catch me dead silent on a corner while they are discussing something but they do know why. I do observe a lot, most of the time i just put my headset on then do my observation routine. Usually during first meetings, i don't talk much; I just listen and observe the other person (mannerisms, tone of voice, gestures) so that i will know how to interact with him/her. Believe me its quite useful because i always do this. :)

Second Question: What separates you from other guys? (this one was thrown by my Socio-Anthropology professor way back 1st year college)

I dunno, hobbies wise, I do play a lot of games (from sports to platform gaming to the larong kalye of the 90's). I mainly play (platform wise) RTS (Real Time Strategy / Front Mission series to Romance of the Three Kingdoms) games, HacknSlash (Dynasty Warriors to Warriors Orochi 1 and 2) , and a little bit of RPG (Role Playing Games / Final Fantasy domain to Suikoden series) and right now i'm into playing League of Legends like any other gamer guys. I do a lot of sports before i took an arrow to the knee (lol, i just injured my knee). Right now, i do enjoy swimming, badminton, basketball and tennis.

I don't dress to impress. I just wear whats available in the closet as long  as i'm comfortable with it. Plain shirts + cargo pants/ jogging pants + sneaks or running shoes are my getup since highschool. Sometimes i go out wearing plain tops + shorts + havs or sandals as long as i'm going out with my buddies ahaha. They always say wear something that you're comfortable with so yeah, i wear what i want not because i need to impress others but because i'm comfortable with it. In my highschool circle of old friends, we have this "be in your best pambahay attire" everytime we meet thus saving us the time of picking bongacious clothings.

I'm a boyscout when it comes to emergency things. I always have an umbrella with me, medicine for headaches and antihistamines. I do have bandaids and cotton balls hidden away in my bag. I always bring a spare phone with me in case my main phone dies out. I also bring extra handkerchief or face towel wherever I go.

Sometimes i bring my laptop with me to work but right now, i only bring my PSP with me (yeah, i play while at work). I always have music playing in my station. I do have my own tumbler for my coffee (coffee lover here lol).

I really don't know what separates me from other guys but some of my friends stated that i'm not like the other guys they know. I think its on how i handle things. I always think before i do something (I usually buy more options than settling just for the last resort thing.) I just wanna take things smoothly. I don't rush things whether some that needs immediate decision ( i see to it that i will take my time thinking about it before deciding). Some says i have this weird aura (I dunno what they are saying but i hope its positive hahahaha)

Third Question: Why do you have few friends? (asked by my mentor at work)

First of all, i have trust issues. I do trusted a lot of people way back but then destroyed my trust. Those who I call my friends now are those people whom I met and trusted, whom i enjoyed being with and most of all, those who value the word TRUST. I don't need a lot of friends (i'm no networking service) who can talk at my back. What i have is a solid circle of people who i can trust and run into for small talks or advices. I have two solid groups of people whom i respect and trust at the same time: Trekking (highschool buds) and 20-five (college buds). I do value both groups the same, no biases whatsoever. We have disputes, we solve them by talking not by bashing. The importance of having comrades during a war is that you have a team to rely on and its the same as having a solid network of close friends that you can rely and trust. If ever there would be an earthly catastrophe (zombie outbreak / the last of us thing) that would happen, i would choose to be with those guys because we as a group knows our own limits and capabilities which is quite the basics of being in a group. Last thing i have to say is that do not trust everybody that you meet, learn to trust only those who've made themselves known to you and continues to prove themselves worthy to be part of your life.
